TEMA PRINCIPAL: Estándares y Guías de Práctica en Electrodiagnóstico: Estado del arte
OBJETIVO: Presentar y discutir el estado del arte de los estándares y las guías de práctica clínica disponibles en Medicina Electrodiagnóstica para los problemas neuromusculares más frecuentes.
Se revisaran además elementos de evaluación de técnicas de diagnóstico médico tales como Medicina Basada en la Evidencia, la iniciativa STRAD (STAndards for the Reporting of Diagnostic accuracy studies), auditoria de estudios diagnóstico, mejoramiento de calidad en Electrodiagnóstico y desenlaces en Medicina Electrodiagnóstica.
Se incluirá una sesión especial sobre guías y protocolos para monitoria intra-operatoria que contará con la presencia del Dr. Daniel Cibils, Neurólogo y Neurofisiólogo de Uruguay quien tiene amplia experiencia en el tema y es el secretario actual de la Junta directiva de la Federación Internacional de Neurofisiología Clínica.
